Free Inside is a prison program which weaves together practices in yoga, meditation and chi gung. Self healing, inner peace and compassion are what it hopes to awaken in people who take its ten sessions
Maine Federal Bonding Program
The Federal Bonding Program provides fidelity bonding insurance coverage to individuals with criminal histories and other high-risk job applicants who are qualified, but fail to get jobs because regular commercial bonding is denied due to their backgrounds.
Maine Prisoner Advocacy Coalition (MPAC)
The Maine Prisoner Advocacy Coalition (MPAC) is comprised of Maine prisoners, their friends and families, victims of crime, and others committed to ethical, positive, and humane changes in Maine's prison system.
Hospice-Corrections Partnership at Maine State Prison
Since 2001, Maine Hospice Council has been operating a hospice program at Maine State Prison (MSP), in partnership with the Prison and the Maine Department of Corrections (MDOC). The Maine Hospice Council and our community volunteers have brought elevated awareness of end-of-life issues to the prison setting. This partnership has enhanced services for prisoners and provided staff with greater knowledge and sensitivity on issues of grief and loss, as well as broadening the horizons of countless individuals through our advocacy and annual conferences.
Cumberland County Community Corrections Work Release Program
The Work Release Program helps inmates get a jump on the re-entry process. They get support from the Community Corrections staff and earn money to pay fines and to save for use once released.
SWiTCH (Success With The Court’s Help)
SWiTCH stands for "Success With the Court's Help." The SWiTCH Program is divided into four phases that participants are required to complete prior to graduating. These phases are: Early Recovery, Limited Early Recovery, Healthy Decision Making, and Relapse Prevention Planning/Maintenance. Individuals who successfully complete The SWiTCH Program are eligible for a one year reduction in their supervised release term.

The Portland Recovery Community Center stands as a safe haven for people from EVERY addiction recovery pathway and for our recovery allies. The purpose of The Portland Recovery Community Center is to help strengthen recovery. PRCC honors ALL pathways to recovery.

The mission of the Two Bridges Regional Jail is to protect the public; to provide a safe, secure, and professional environment which embraces direct supervision principles in the management of detainees; and, through role-modeling and programs, to equip detainees with the means to live a productive and law-abiding lifestyle.
Maine Inside Out: Art for Social Change Inside and Outside US Prisons
Maine Inside Out artists facilitate the creation of original theater to engage the community in dialogue about issues related to incarceration. The tool of theater invites us to recognize ourselves in others and to connect across boundaries.
